It’s a list of marketing and sales digital terminology, acronyms, synonym available on the web. You will find most common digital marketing , email marketing adtech terms, many of which are specific to SEO, PPC, and web design.

Marketing Automation
The replacement of repetitive manual marketing processes and tasks with solutions that are automated, especially in regards to e-mail marketing.
Marketing Technology Stack
A grouping of technologies that marketers leverage to conduct and improve their marketing activities.
Markup
This refers to the coding applied to a text document to change it into an HTML, XML, or other Markup Language document.
Mashup
A combination of data from multiple sources, usually through the use of APIs. An example of a mashup would be an app that shows the locations of all the movie theaters in a particular town on a Google map. It is mashing up one data source (the addresses of movie theaters) with another data source (the geographic location of those addresses on a map).
Meetup
The world’s largest network of local groups. It enables users to organise a local group or find one of the thousands already meeting up face-to-face.
Meme
An image, video, piece of text or any combination of the three, typically humorous in nature, that is copied and spread rapidly by users across the internet, often starting on sites such as Reddit, and often with slight variations.
Metadata
Data about data. Examples of metadata include descriptors indicating when information was created, by whom and in what format. Metadata helps to organize information online and make it machine-readable. HTML is an example of metadata — it organizes the data in a web page so browsers can display it sensibly. Web pages often have hidden metadata that helps with their search engine ranks. Photos uploaded to Flickr carry metadata such as time taken, camera model and shutter speed. MP3s have metadata such as the artist name, track title, album name and so on. created, by whom and in what format. Metadata helps to organize information online and make it machine-readable. Micro-Post or Micro-Blog
A microblog is similar to a traditional blog in every way except its size. Microblogs are much smaller, sometimes comprising of nothing more than one sentence. Microposts have been made popular by social networking site Twitter, as its users are limited to posts of no more than 140 characters in length.
Mobile App A/B Testing
The practice of using A/B testing to test different experiences within mobile apps.
Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
Monthly Recurring Revenue is a measure of the predictable and recurring revenue components of your subscription business. It will typically exclude one-time and variable fees, but for month-to-month businesses could include such items.
MRR Churn
MRR churn is the monthly revenue lost from canceled contracts; Mathematically MRR churn rate is an extension of the SaaS customer churn rate calculated by substituting monthly recurring revenue in place of the number of customers.
Multi-Armed Bandit
A form of A/B testing that uses machine learning algorithms to dynamically allocate traffic to variations that are performing well.
Multi-channel marketing
Multi-channel marketing is the implementation of a single strategy across multiple channels or platforms, thus maximizing opportunities to interact with prospective customers.
Multivariate Testing
A technique for testing a hypothesis where multiple variables are modified, in order to determine the best combination of variations on those elements of a website or mobile app.
